Vintage October 1951 Galaxy Science Fiction Magazine! Puppet Masters by Heinlein! Up for sale is a Vintage “Galaxy Science Fiction” Pulp Magazine! This is the rare October 1951 issue, Volume 3 Number 1 . This issue features The C-Chute by Isaac Asimov, Pleasant Dreams by Ralph Robin, Ambition by William L. Bade, Spacemen Die at Home by Edward W. Ludwig, The Celestial Hammerlock by Donald Colvin, and The Puppet Masters (Part 2 of 3) by Robert A. Heinlein. They are all the original first printings of these science fiction stories and novelettes in any publication. This is a 160-page pulp magazine published by the Galaxy Publishing Corporation that measures about 7¼” x 5⅜”. The magazine features a wonderful painted cover by pulp artist Richard Arbib and illustrations by David Stone, Ed Emshwiller, Larry Woromay, Thorne, Norris, and Don Sibley inside. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling, including some edge chipping, a small edge tear on the back, and small piece of paper stuck to the back. The paper is intact along the magazine’s spine, and the magazine is complete and remains well bound. Its interior pages are clean with no writing, creases, rips, or tears, except for a few small edge bindery tears.
