Vintage July 1951 Galaxy Science Fiction Magazine! Fritz Leiber! William Tenn! Description Up for sale is a Vintage “Galaxy Science Fiction” Pulp Magazine! This is the rare July 1951 issue, Volume 2 Number 4 . This issue features Venus Is a Man’s World by William Tenn, Common Denominator by John D. MacDonald, Syndrome Johnny by Katherine MacLean (as by Charles Dye), Mars Child (Part 3 of 3) by C. M. Kornbluth and Judith Merril, Pen Pal by Milton Lesser, and Appointment in Tomorrow by Fritz Leiber . These are all the original first printings of these science fiction stories and novelettes. It is a 160-page pulp magazine published by World Editions and measures about 7½” x 5½”. The magazine features a wonderful painted cover by pulp artist Ed Emshwiller and illustrations by Gene Fawcette, Don Hunter, Don Sibley, and Ed Emshwiller inside. As shown in the photos, the magazine is in very good condition for its age with some cover wear and light soiling. The paper is intact along the magazine’s spine, and the magazine is complete and remains well bound. Its interior pages are nice and clean with a small corner bend and no writing, creases, rips, or tears.
